I celebrated a birthday a few years ago at WDW and my older sister surprised me with a rented boat ride for the Epcot fireworks and then got me a fabulous Mickey cake. I know they do not rent out boats in DLR but it is my younger sisters birthday when we are there so a surprise cake would be cool! Can I buy one anywhere that you know of?

We got one at Cafe Orleans a while back. Call Disney Dining & ask what they have available. I'm sure they have a way to seperate you from your money for every occasion! :goodvibes

If you eat a meal at one of the resort hotels, you can do a "custom order". I did this for DDs last Nov. and it was great. They think they had three styles to choose from...princess, classic mickey, and the other one has slipped my mind at the moment. They had different cakes, fillings, and frostings to choose from and then they decorated it per your requests to some degree. Like my DDs choose princess so the custom decor was all done for Belle since that was their favorite. They have different size cakes and you have more options with the larger cakes.

Sorry for the delay in replying to this post - I had to upload my pictures to Photobucket.

Here is the cake I had delivered to our room at the GCH to celebrate my niece's kindergarten graduation in 2009. It was an amazing cake! All I told vacation planning was that I wanted a chocolate cake with an Ariel theme. We were so impressed with the way it turned out.

I would imagine that if you ate at Storytellers and ordered a cake directly from them, it would come from the same bakery that this cake came from, and would be just as beautiful. I think it was $40 or something like that.
