Birthday Cake...

Hi...

When I called Disney Dining this morning...the CM told me that I would need to order a Birthday Cake for Chef Mickeys & Liberty Tree Tavern 48 hours in advance and she gave me a number to call...

But I thought I remember reading on here that some of you got a cake, cupcake or something for your B-Day and didn't have to order it.

It is for my son's 5th B-Day...I don't mind ordering a cake...I just wanted to make sure that I needed to order one or if they would provide him one.

At Chef Mickey's, your DS will receive a cupcake and a placemat. Not sure about Liberty Tree. Definitely not enough to share though. I am thinking about ordering one for my DS from Whispering Canyons. Has anyone ever done this?

When we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's during our honeymoon, we didn't order anything, at the end of breakfast, they brought out a cupcake w/ a Mickey ears and Mickey and Pluto came over to shake our hand, but that was it. We didn't order anything, we didn't even know they were gonna do that.

Maybe you can ask the CM to make a note on the PS that you're celebrating your DS's b-day.

Turnlisa, when we had dinner at WCC (anniversary), our waitress Jasmine were chit chatting w/ us and we told her it was our anniversary. She made a huge hoorah about it in front of everyone then after dinner, she brought out a huge chocolate cake for us. Which was really sweet of her, it was added to our bill, but it was thoughtful of her.
But I wouldn't know if you need to order a cake ahead of time, I know they do have whole cakes there already.

We will be celebrating 2 Birthdays this trip...Ds who will be 5 and my Dh who will be turning 31!!
