Hello,

I have just booked a meal for us all at cafe mickey in September.
My sister wants to add a birthday cake for her boyfriend.
Was I meant to do this when I booked the meal?
Or can I add it on later?
Will we need to pay for it when we add the cake?

Many thanks in advance! xxx

in Feb we did a cake in cafe mickey and auberge, one I added on the reservation and one I added at city hall when I got there. I didn't have to pay for any in advance but I'm sure I've read others have?

you don't have to add the cake in advance if you don't want to, you can wait until you get to the resort and do it there. You need to order it a day in advance though, so the restaurant you want it served at knows they have enough to go round :). I did it all at City Hall when we last had dinner with birthday cake at Cafe Mickey, and then it was just all added on the one bill at the restaurant.

Thanks for the quick reply that is brilliant was worried I had to do it there and then and had missed the chance for her to do something special for him x

If you have booked through Disney themselves you can ring up and add it onto your hotel booking - you will get given a voucher when you check in and then you need to confirm with your choosen restaurant or the concierge that you are having a birthday cake with that reservation.
