Love this cake.

We loved it too . They will deliver it to your room I am sure at anytime before you arrive. It was a nice surprise for my DD as she didn't know before hand . We loved it and it was a great start to our trip.

Bumping up this thread to say that I called today to inquire about a cake for DD's 8th b-day and was told that the minimum price for the smallest cake is $55.00 . Definitely more than I want to pay for a cake.

So, we won't be ordering one from them, even though they do look awesome .

We returned from our vacation with a partial stay at PBH on August 28th. I've been sick since then with a cold, thanks to Fay. Well one of the things I planned on was a birthday surprise my DD, even though my actual birthday was during our brief stay. Despite the cost I really wanted to order a cake for our arrival and called the Portofino concierge and made the arrangements. I ordered a 7 inch marble cake with chocolate mousse and whipped cream filling, with butter creme frosting. Cost $55 plus tax. I also ordered a balloon bouquet for DD sincce her 18th was coming up another $47 w/tax. We arrived early, checked in and went to the parks. We returned later to find a lovely bouqet of balloons placed in front of the window and a beautiful cake on the table. My mouth must have dropped open. This 7 inch cake was more like 7 inches high and was at least 10 inches across. Needless to say we had cake every evening for a snack and morning for breakfast, Well worth the $55 I must say, which I was never charged. (another story)Here's a few pic's.

I'm not sure if this info is still 100% valid but a few years ago I had inquired about ordering a cake at RPR. I asked what flavors were available and this is what I was told:

The cake you ordered looks so delicious! I find myself having a craving for cake now. Hopefully RPR still offers the flavor choices I posted above. I may give them a call this weekend and ask just out of curiousity. I'll post whatever response I receive here.
