Birthday cake in the room?

My husband's birthday is Thanksgiving, and we leave the next day to go to the Poly. I'd like to have a cake (big enough to feed myself, DH, DS2.5, MIL, FIL, aunt, uncle, cousin, wife) and balloons in the room ready for us when we arrive back in the evening. How would I go about this? Unfortunately, with 2 little ones, I wouldn't have a definite time to be back at the room until probably that afternoon (not sure if I'd have to take a mid-day break, and then go back to the parks, or back to the room earlier). Would anyone work like this if I gave them say 2 hours notice?

I'm thinking this might get too complicated, but can anyone help?

Thanks !

Make sure the birthday is noted on your reservation. Then a few days before you arrive fax or call the Front Desk/Gst Services. They will be glad to assist you.

Thanks for your reply. The hotel itself can help? I'm not talking about the complimentary cakes I've received in the past. I would need a much larger cake and would definitely not expect that free. I thought of the florist, but pretty sure they don't do cakes.

I would call the hotel and get the phone number for the WDW bakery. They do bake cakes that you can purchase and have delivered to your resort.
