Birthday cake at Cafe Mickey

Hi,

I am thinking of ordering a birthday cake for DH when we go to Cafe Mickey in just under 2 weeks time. We already have a reservation there, so I would just have to call them and have it added on.
What I would Like to know is does anyone have a picture of the cake that they have and how much is it?
Like to see things before I buy, if you know what I mean!

Any pics or info would be much appreciated.

It is sponge with chocolate in. I thought it was Jam at first but definitely chocolate.

does anyone know is this the same cake you would get if you booked a birthday tea party in plaza gardens?

We ordered a birthday cake at the Lucky Nugget and we didn't get the full cake, just four slices (one each). I wasn't sure if this was now how things were done across all the restaurants.

No, the birthday cake at the plaza gardens isn't as big as that, but you do get a whole cake, not just a slice.

You do just get a slice of cake if you have the cake at the ADC Princess meal, which seems a right old rip-off to me, considering you're paying extra for it, and you get a whole cake everywhere else!

Diane you should have complained - I would have. £15 for four slices of cake?

do hope not, am lookin forward to a full cake..... will check when i phone up - will be havin the cake at cafe mickey, so really hope its a full cake. have already the prob that ds has asked if it will be mickey n minnie that come out - so guess whose gonna have to try and make THAT request work out!!!

You're pretty safe in assuming Mickey will be out in Cafe Mickey - its the only restaurant you can guarantee he'll be there. I don't think we saw Minnie when we had our evening meal there.
Just checked with DD - nope, we didn't see Minnie at Cafe Mickey, but we saw both at the Lucky Nugget.

We saw Minnie and Mickey at CM last month when we went for lunch.

She is also just inside the gates of the studios every morning.

when we were there in june we saw them both, and this is y ds says he wants them to come out with the cake!!!
some children r just not satisfied.....

so - at plaza gardens - the character tea party, when u have the birthday option - u get a whole cake????

I think i was very lucky as i had every character that was there the night i had my cake celebrate at the table with me....it was so fun in a embarrasing kind of way lol.
