Do they still sell Birthday Buttons / Badges in the Magic Kingdom? If so, where can you get them and what is the cost? Does the person wearing the badge (a 7 year old boy) get any special treatment?

Thanks for any info!

My daughter got a birthday button at Town Hall in MK. It didn't cost anything and they even gave one to her little brother so he would have one when his b-day came around. When we then went into the hat shop, the lady gave her some hairclips and the Mayor sang Happy B-day to her.

Did you need a birth certificate? Wondering if I should bring it.

No, we just walked up to the desk and told them. They were extremely nice! And like I said, they also gave one to my son.

All the parks have Birthday buttons. Stop at guest relations and they will give you one.

You may get a magical moment on a ride, a phone call from Goofy, birthday greetings from CM's. It was fun when I wore mine.

I got a birthday button for myself when I was on a solo birthday trip two years ago (and lets just say that I am WAY beyond 7). All day I had folks (both CMs and guests) saying Happy Birthday. I was getting a Fastpass for Splash Mountain - the return time was about 1 1/2 hours away. The CM saw my button and gave me a pass to use right away! He said I shouldn't have to wait on my birthday! I'm sure everyone has different experiences with the birthday button - get one and watch the magic happen! (Though I would not plan on anything other than many greetings - that way there is no disappointment)
