Birthday Buttons

Hi everyone. We are going to be at Disneyland next week to celebrate our son's 8th birthday. Where do we go to get the birthday buttons?

I believe you can just go to city hall. Unless you have a character breakfast reservation, I believe you can still tell them about a birthday when you make the reservation.

We have only been on a birthday once and got them at a charactor breakfast.

I have gotten the buttons at City Hall in both parks. I have also heard that if you are staying onsite that you can also get them from your Hotel.

City Hall has them. Some stores and restaurants have them as well, as do the on site hotels. But, we've always got ours from City Hall. Partly because if you go to City Hall you get a fun phone call that you may not get elsewhere.

Yup, and if they don't tell you where to go for it then ask them about it.

The ticket booths also have them. When we were there to redeem our APs the CM must've seen that my mom's birthday was around the same time so she automatically gave her a button with the AP.

The Guest Services windows outside of both parks have them as well. Might save you a minute or two to grab them there before the parks open, rather than doing it after you go inside.

We have gooten ours at the doors at World of Disney and also at the Toy Story parking lot when we go through the gate, in addition to the above mentioned places. You can also arrange that special phone call ahead of time, to go to any phone, even your cell or landline if not in the parks for a celebration.

Yes, but those I've always had to pay for...the one at City Hall is free.

Hmmm, I haven't seen mentioned that some of the special roaming CM's will give you a birthday button as well. I got a button from one for my son when I was there in June.

Somebody on this board had mentioned it prior. I forgot how to identify the special CM's though, if I recall correctly plaid shirt and blue vest? Maybe somebody else can chime in.....

Yes, plaids will have them as well. Plaids work in City Hall and at the info booth at the end of MS. And yes, sometimes simply walking around the park.
