We are going to Disney the week before my son's 7th birthday. I thought we would celebrate in Disney. I've read if we tell the CM at the hotel it is his birthday they will give him a special birthday button. Think I can still do that even if it is a week away?

Which restaurants make the biggest deal out of a child's birthday? Connor is all about the special attention!!!:cool1:

I would ask about getting a birthday button. I have seen at Chef Mickey's that they have a happy birthday placemat that is given.

I hope he has a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

A week early isn't a big deal at all. :) Def ask the CM when you check in. If you forget, you can always get them from guest services at the parks. Most CMs notice when they're wearing it and wish a "Happy Birthday" to him as well. Also, if you make any ADR's, mention that you're celebrating a birthday and ask them to add that to the reservation. For our ADR at the Plaza at MK, they had Mickey confetti on the table for my Connor's 1st birthday dinner. Also, if you'd like to have a cake made, check out the cake thread on this board. When they brought my son's out, all the servers/cooks lined up and sang to him. It was well worth the money IMO. Have a great trip and happy early birthday Connor!
