When we go in September we will be arriving late...We will have dinner at Ohana'. Should we only wear her button that night or should she be able to were it he next day? WE will be getting on our flight at 2 but not getting to the world until around 8pm. I will have my b-day also while we are there and I am having dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Should we tell them when we arrive, call and have them note it on our ressies, or keep it to ourselves? :wizard: :wizard:

Don't keep it to yourselves! From what I now understand, most people make it known for the entire trip.

We traveled last week. It was a birthday trip for my kids (DD turned 10 and DS turned 9). I didn't bother telling anyone and I didn't realize until we got home that pretty much every restaurant you eat in will bring you free fancy desserts if you're there for a birthday. I saw somebody posted photos in the Food Pics thread of lots of different free desserts from his b-day trip.

Definitely don't keep it to yourselves! Wear the button the next day, as well. It will make the trip really special!

I agree with these posts! Definitly wear it the whole time!

Wear your button the entire trip! I did in Dec 04 and 05! Disney is the best place to celebrate your birthday!

It's not just your birthday... it's your BIRTH-MONTH! :cool1:
Celebrate!

Ok I am not sure if this is along those same lines but,
This year we are basically foregoing all of my families birthdays, my wife and my anniversary as well as our christmas gift giving and are making this trip all of these in one. Now mind you none of these birthdays or our anniversary fall during the time of our trip. Would it be a bad thing to tell the WDW people that we are celebrating these things since we are foregoing them all at there actual times and we actually are using this vaca as our celebration for them?
