Birthday at Pop

My DD is turning 3 while we're at Pop. I read on a few threads that if you mention it's their birthday the resort will put balloons and a pic of your fav character to your room on your bday. I just called CR and they said that only applies to concierge level rooms. Anyone ever celebrate a bday at Pop? And, if so, did they do anything special or is that up to me to arrange via the Disney florist? Thanks!

do something with the florist (any in the area will work) - then the resort might add something.

be sure to mention at check in that it is her birthday.

also when you go to MK get her a birthday pin at the city hall and have a fun day.

POP actually did this for me, although I didn't really expect it. what happened is that I had brought an inflatable castle down with me. I went to the concierge desk and asked if they could have a runner just go and plug it in for me sometime during the day. he first said that's something to ask housekeeping but when I suggested maybe housekeeping wasn't the best option, he didn't seem to argue and went on checked on it in the backoffice and came back and said they would send someone to do it.

they also added the balloons and card, so this is what we came back to

so it's something they CAN do. i dunno if they normally will though. you'll note the photo is specific to POP though which doesn't have a club level so they're obviously meant for someone.

I told the Pop at check-in and when we made our ressie that it was my son's 3rd birthday day when we were there. The brought him a balloon bouquet (3 balloons) with a card with a photo of Mickey Mouse.

I didn't ask for it - I just told them it was a special trip. I think I also asked if there was anything special I could do for him for his b. day. That is how they responded.

My son got balloons and a pic for his bday at Pop. We didn't ask for them. We told them when we made our ressie that he would be celebrating his bday. They also had a birthday call for him. Be sure to get the birthday button! It's nice for them to hear Happy Birthday all day! Also, make a note on any ADRs that you have. He got a special dessert for dinner. Our waitress asked him if he liked big or little happy birthdays - he said big, so she had the whole restaurant sing to him!

Everyone, thank you so much for the info! And, the pictures were great too. I hope they do something for her but if not, it's ok too. She's only 3. It's not like she's expecting it. Again, thanks for the info. It was really helpful.
