What are some of the magical things that has happened while at Crystal Palace or any other place on your child's birthday?

And has anyone sent something to a restaurant from DisneyFlorist?

As an adult male I got a birthday cake at several restaurants and high fives from the characters (I got a birthday button from the hotel) then the donkey boys from the MSEP (2nd running) came out and harassed me. :rotfl2:

I've not done the florist to the restaurant but I have done the florist to the resort room and a cake to a restaurant. Basically, give the florist your reservation time and where and they should be able to handle the rest. The servers at the restaurant handled the cake very well (I had ordered the cake several months previously but we were seated and ordered our food and nobody gave me any notice that it was there. So I "faked" going to the bathroom after the meal to find our waitress and figure out if the cake was there or not. After several minutes I finally found her and asked if she had the cake and she told me "Yeah, I've been waiting for you to get back from the bathroom to bring it out!" :rotfl: )

We have celebrated a couple of birthdays at Disney. If you do it ahead of time you can pick a cake flavor and have it personalized. If you do it day of it will just say Happy Birthday and what ever cake they have available.

We have also ordered gift baskets and had them delivered to the room. The kids totally loved it.

They have gotten their birthday buttons from the hotel. The CM are great about wishing you a happy birthday while you wait. One parade they picked my son to come dance with the group since it was his birthday.

We celebrated DD's 4th birthday at WDW. She proudly wore her pin and managed to score several free cupcakes. Seriously... she got a free cupcake at every ADR on the whole trip.

The best birthday moment was on her actually birthday. We were walking through MK and saw a 4 piece brass band playing. One of them pointed to her and shouted "Hey everybody it's Maisie's birthday". The band proceeded to play happy birthday a group of about 20 people joined in and sang to her. It was so special! One of my favorite Disney memories :goodvibes

Awww... Love it, I cant wait ;]

DD got a free brownie sundae from the staff at POFQ. Lots of special character moments while visiting the parks.

For one birthday, we had our room decorated for Halloween to celebrate DD birthday. It was awesome. We went to MNSSHP and when we returned, you could see the purple and orange lights through the curtains. The room looked great. Lots of cool stuff including a giant Mickey and Minnie stuffed. Both have a permanent sleeping spot at the foot of DD bed at night.

We saw talking Mickey on my sons birthday and he sang happy birthday to him, it was awesome!

We took our daughter for her 5th birthday. She wore her b-day button and got tons of "happy birthdays" from cm's. She also got a cupcake at almost all our ADR's. We also had a b-day card from Mickey and gang delivered to our room one evening. Oh, and her favorite-- she was at guest services (I think? she was with DH) and the CM put her on the phone with Goofy who wish her Happy Birthday.

We are taking our younger daughter in Sept. for her 5th b-day and are so excited! Birthday's at Disney are lots of fun!

We did a small cake at CRT for DD's 10th birthday. I wouldn't remember it if it wasn't for the pictures, because every single table service we ate at that trip brought a special dessert for her and made a big deal out of her birthday.

We went to WDW in November for my dd's Sweet 16. We had dinner at the crystal palace and they sprinkled confetti on the table and brought her a cupcake and a card signed by the characters. She received many cupcakes and cards throughout our trip and at 1900 Park fare she got a place mat signed by the characters. This one was from Hollywood & Vine Breakfast.

These were from 1900 Park Fare.

On the night before her birthday we had dinner at Chef Mickey's and had a balloon bouquet delivered to the restaurant from the Disney florist and ordered a cake from the Contemporary to be delivered as well.

We also ordered her an in room celebration from the Disney Florist and added the giant Mickey Balloon to it.

If you don't mind sharing, how much was the Disney Florist in room celebration?
That looks adorable!

The in room celebration was $395 plus we added personalization to everything we could which was another $16. The big mickey balloon we had added to it was $32. IMO it was worth every penny for the looks on my dd's faces and the amount of stuff that came with it! I would definitely do it again!

Thank you for being so open and sharing that! One more question, if you have time, what all was included? I can't seem to find details on their website. What was inside the huge boxes? It may be easier to do this than to pack it all in my car, etc...
