We are celebrating my DD3's birthday at CRT on December 6. princess:

I indicated her birthday under the "what will you celebrate" thing when I made the ADR. Does anyone know if they will do anything special for her?

Thanks!

a bit hit or miss so ordering a cake or a slipper would guarantee something.

Our last trip was around my daughter's birthday. At CRT they brought a card for all of the princesses to sign, a cupcake in addition to the sundae dessert, and the CM sang Happy Birthday to her and two girls at another table. I couldn't see if others received the card, but he was the only one that sang while we were there.

If you remind them at the hostess stand you are sure to get a card or certificate as well as a birthday cupcake type thing. But... as the others said... you could order something special. The chocolate slipper seems to be popular at CRT.

We celebrated DD's birthday there this year and I pre-ordered the slipper dessert. The server brought it out along with a birthday certficate.

That is exactly what we did for my DD's 3rd birthday. We ordered the dessert and our server brought it out with a candle in it and we all sang happy birthday. They also brought her a birthday certificate that all the princesses signed.

It was a great place to do a birthday. It was at a late breakfast too FYI.

We ordered a specialty cake and noted our twins birthday.

The table was decorated with confetti, etc. They got a certificate signed by the princesses. They sang happy birthday to them when they brought out the cake.

Ours is a late breakfast too! 10:35am. :goodvibes I think I will do the chocolate slipper. Are there other desserts to choose from? I would feel bad having my other DD6 sitting there and not enjoying a dessert too..especially chocolate.

Should I call them ahead of time prior to our ADR to remind them so they will do this, or is listing it as a celebration on the online reservation enough, do you think?

Just a note that on our trip I ordered the chocolate slipper for my wife as a suprise (lunch on Sept. 13, 2009). When it came out the slipper was brown chocolate not white chocolate.

No big deal, it still looked beautiful and tasted great - but just FYI.

I just celebrated my 31st birthday at the Castle for lunch. What I got was great! First, I got confetti on my table. Then I got a signed card with each princess's autograph and then I got a cake like dessert with a candle. It was good, but I ate my Chocolate Cream Cheese buckle instead so I only took a bite! CRT was great for birthdays, I just noted it on my reservation as well.

We had this same dilemma and just ordered two of the slippers--one birthday one for her (it said her name and happy birthday) and a plain one for my son so he wasn't left out! They were around $15 each I think, so not bad. And ours was exactly like the picture a PP posted...the dark chocolate.

If you didn't note it in your reservation than yes you should call so they know ahead of time. Have fun!
