Birthday at Animal Kingdom Lodge

We're headed for AKL 2/8-2/13. My DH birthday is 2/9. How can I give him some Disney magic?

This is our first stay at AKL. I read a post about a family who were upgraded to concierge level for $100. How do people get upgrades like that?

I see that you live in Silver Spring We just moved from gaithersburg to sterling

you will see a lot of D.C folks around AKL then My husband who works in Silver Spring will be there on a Suntrust Covention

Mention the birthday to the resort staff. You may get an autographed picture. You will not get balloons. For the safety of the animals, balloons are not allowed at AKL.

As for upgrades, a lot of it is just plain luck!
