- Grand Floridan Tea
- Hoop De Doo

Anything else special you can think of, let me know?

1) I do not understand the question.
3) Did you see/want/wish special treatment at eateries?
3) If so, please read the below.
.
.

BIRTHDAY-ANNIVERSARY-HONEYMOON-GRADUATION-ETC Celebrations "411":
1) It is a matter of the CM's personal initiative.
. . . depends upon how much they like you as a guest
. . . it always helps to wear a "Happy Birthday" or "Just Married" button
. . . depends if they feel like doing anything special today
. . . depends upon the phase of the moon
2) CM's can do a lot, or they can do nothing at all as they have immense control
. . . they are under no obligation to give goodies or even acknowledge special day
. . . they can go way overboard, give lots of gifts
. . . they have A LOT of leeway for what they will or will not do for you
. . . they can see the event if listed on the ADR or hotel ressie and you hope for the best
3) Some of the things a CM can do for free are
. . . table with Mickey confetti
. . . your name/celebration on menu at TS locations (except BOG)
. . . best table location
. . . special personalized menu
. . . character-autographed birthday cards
. . . balloons
. . . balloon animals
. . . wine or champagne or Shirley Temples
. . . room towel animals
. . . appetizers or desserts
. . . cakes
. . . cupcake with candle (almost always available for the asking)
. . . place mats autographed by characters
. . . free appy or free dessert
. . . ride an attraction with a character
. . . personalization items for the Magic Bands
5) Some other items CM's can give for free
. . . room full of balloons and/or flowers
. . . fruit basket or wine basket in hotel room
. . . individual fast passes or booklets of several fast passes
. . . food and snack items (candy, popcorn, sundries)
. . . room upgrades
. . . attraction rides with characters
6) If you really want something special, buy it yourself.
. . . eatery: carry presents in and keep/hide them in a paper bag
. . . eatery: carry a cake in, but, WDW won't prepare, store, or serve it
. . . eatery: order non-decorated cake at the eatery podium check-in
. . . eatery: order decorated cake from the WDW Cake Hotline
. . . room: order special in-room celebration decorating by Disney
. . . room: order strawberries and cream, if resort has room service
. . . room: decorate the room yourself
7) If there are multiple celebrations for people during a trip
. . . do not do separate celebration locations or tables
. . . one person may get an enthusiastic CM and get goodies
. . . one person may get a lazy CM and get nothing
8) Hundreds, or thousands, celebrate everyday at WDW.
9) It is too much time/money for CM's to attend or recognize every one of them.

It's a question of opinion, right? In the time it took to post ALL that information, he/she could have just given you feedback on your choices!

How many are in your party? Just curious.

Out of your choices, I really enjoy Tusker House for breakfast, Liberty Tree (but for lunch when the menu is ala carte), Hoop Dee Doo, and Be Our Guest (but for dinner). We also did the Grand Floridian for tea and it was a lovely experience (too expensive to do again though). So, it would be a nice treat for a birthday.

If you are doing BOG for breakfast so you can get into the park early, I like Crystal Place better for that. I know BOG is hard to get an ADR for dinner, but it really is a nice experience and good food. We have celebrated my husband's birhpthday there twice now, and he was recognized for wearing his birthday pin each time. Even without that though, BOG was nice for a special occasion. At Hoop Dee Doo, it's a great time for a celebration, and if you are in Tier 1, you might be include in the act!

I do not care for Hollywood and Vine and I have never been to Jiko, so I cannot coment on that.

Other places we have gone to celebrate special occasions include California Grill (timed it for the fireworks), Ohana, and Garden Grill. There are a lot of really great choices!

Last year, we celebrated my husband's 40th in Disney, and just being there was special enough. He wore his birthday pin and many people would wish him a Happy Birthday. Anything "extra" was just icing on the cake!

You are unlikely to see much birthday pixie dust at a QS breakfast at BOG.

Happy to share my opinions, but as with all things to do with dining, preferences are very individual. And there's no guarantee that any special pixie dust will occur at any restaurant.

- Tutto Italia

We enjoy the meals here much more than at VN.

-Minnie's Seasonal Dine Fantasmic

The character interaction is reportedly good. But I would rate the food somewhat below that of CMs dinner. In other words. at the bottom of the buffet heap.

- Tusker House (10:45 ADR

Good choice for a brunch ish meal in the park

One of our favorite signatures.

-Be Our Guest (breakfast)

Overpriced for a CS breakfast, but understandable ONLY if it is a pre opening ADR and you get one of the first times.

-Liberty Tree Tavern (get canceled in favor of Skippers)

Lunch or dinner? We like both meals, but lunch does have the advantage of being a la carte. I don't understand what you mean about cancelling in favor of Skippers Canteen. While I think their menu looks really interesting, you would need to cancel your ADR at least the day before in order to avoid the $10pp no show penalty.

- Grand Floridan Tea

This would certainly be a special treat.

- Hoop De Doo

This had always been a favorite with everyone in our family.

I did not care for BOG breakfast. Totally overpriced. I love the lunch and dinner though!

Thank you!!!!! I was just asking for reviews. I've ate at some of them (I am a passholder) but not all, I switch restaurants every trip to experience them all. My entire trip is "Kevin's FABULOUS 30th Birthday Celebration" 4 nights in DW, 6 in DL. I am flying from Disney World to Disneyland.

I was asking about "special treatment." I go to Disney World every year for my birthday, and they always take care of me. Cupcakes galore, wine, fastpasses, whisky shots, desserts, balloons.. I said last year I was never noting my birthday again... at the end of the week I was so sick of cupcakes lol.

I was just looking for thoughtful reviews of the restaurants. I have a BOG pre-park 8 AM. I love the BOG breakfast and am on deluxe dining plan. I don't like Crystal Palace and I did Cinderella Royal Table for breakfast last birthday. I am doing Ariel's Grotto in Disneyland, which is a similar princess breakfast :)

Oh, Liberty is for lunch. My TA is going to cancel soon if I decide on Skippers. I've been to Liberty and not Skippers yet, but I don't like not having an ADR in place.
