HMMM, that might explain why my friend on the pill is now pregnant with her 4th child--- SURPRISE!! They only thought they were done.

Update 11:30am eastern time: I checked it out and found out thru the pharmacy company that sends me the pills what is what. Thankfully, mine are actually ok.

Camlace is correct about what the problem was.

the reason they were recalled is because the placebo pill was in week 1 rather than week 4 in the pack. So basically the pack was upside down...now if this is not your first month on the pill you probably would have scratched your head and wondered why the one week with a different color was at the beginning rather than the end. So as long as you understand you should be taking the placebo week 4 rather than week 1...the pills were otherwise fine.

I got a letter about this and you have to check the packets...its not ALL of them. there are date codes.

mine were not affected. so be sure you check !!!

and ps...the recall was because the labels were wrong...the pills were fine.

I'm not sure how many were birth control babies but the last 4 children in my family weren't planned (this was me and all three of my neices).

I know I was a birth control baby. But I'm not positive my sisters were actually on birth control although I'm going to assume that at least 1 or 2 of them were.

Also two of them (me and my oldest neice) were symptomless pregnancies for the first 4 months. So we were really surprises.
