I've sent my package. It's not going far so it should be there by Monday.

I also got my wonderful package from Meriweather.

Inside I found a great stuffed Flit, 2 ceramic birds that hang on pots, a bag full of chocolate, a hidden mickey pin with Mickey & Donald playing baseball, and cute parrot bookmark that her DD made and the most wonderful pair of woodend hummingbird earrings that her DH made.

I love everything!!

I have our exchanges, packaged and addressed, but not sealed. Would like to stop at one more store on my way to the post office to see if I can find something to make these packages special. I am not complaining, but I must be shopping at the wrong stores as I have found things, but nothing "special". These will be in the mail today, will post back when mailed.

OK, it's official: all the birds in SW OH have flown south for the winter and it's only July! Our exchanges are in the mail.

DD Katey received her exchange today fom AlexWyattMommy! She was very excited to find a mechanical bird in a cage that chirps and moves. Way cool. (More about that in a minute.) Sunflower seeds and 3 books. She took off to the hammock to read or I'd list the titles. Thank you for an awesome exchange.

The rest of the story: DD shows my Mom (83) the cool bird in the cage. My Mom tells us a story about how when she was younger she wanted to get her Mom a bird in a cage similar to the one DD received, but it was $700.00. DD is amazed that some nice Diser sent her a $700.00 bird. Thanks again!
