Birds of a feather peck together.

The birds have a good life at Disney World with all the food around. The only thing they have to watch out for is little kids who, for some unknown reason, like to scare the birds. Run up and make them run away. We always wonder what that kid would do if some giant did that to them.

You're right-- I hate seeing kids do this. What's worse is the parents who stand by and think it's cute.

I agree 100%. I get so sick of trying to get a picture of one of the children with a critter nearby only to be thwarted at the last second by some unsupervised kid who rudely runs right by me with my camera to chase the animals away.
I can't blame the child, but I want to smack the parent. And the previous post is correct. Most of the time the adult just laughs about it. "Isn't that cute to see little Johnny chase and scare the animals"?:mad:
I just want to say "Drop that parent off in the lion exhibit!" Let's see THEM get chased! See how THEY like it.

When I was at Yak and Yeti CS, I had a grackle fly down in front of me and take a chicken thing from my chicken and rice meal. I love birds, but I wasn't crazy about "bird germs" in my food after that.

I have a similar experience with all the seagulls at work.
They always swoop into my cube and snatch fries from my desk.
I finally had to tell them to buy their own, and leave me alone!!!

Was your desk outside? Not being funny, just trying to figure out how this happens...:happytv:

Seagulls is a term we use for co-workers who feel entitled to any food on your desk.
They also swoop down on any baked goods someone brings in.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Do your co-workers know your calling them flying rats???:happytv::happytv::lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Flame Tree is one of my favorite foods to eat, however, my family likes Pizzafarri better. I always have to go to Flame Tree and walk my food around to Pizzafarri to eat with my family and pray I don't get run over by a scooter.

I think when I was there, I heard choruses of "Mine, mine, mine" echoing from the ground.

!!!! :lmao:

Love it! I call them "fruit flies" because they seem to sense whenever food is put out. We have people in our building that you won't see for months but as soon as somebody brings in some cookies they magically appear and engulf them.

As for the birds, I think that disnut8 is right. If you talk to them, they tend to leave you alone (though that doesn't explain why they kept bothering the OP...maybe the OP was just really tasty? ;)).
