Is it just me, or do the birds at Walt Disney World not afraid of humans and will do ANYTHING for food. So, I was eating a cookie walking in World Showcase. I'm holding my cookie slightly to the side and I feel something on my finger. A bird had just swooped down and took my cookie! It was actually really funny and caught me off guard.

Another time I had to be a guard for my dad's wrap at Pecos Bill. This huge bird(Pictured Below) kept trying to eat it and I had to shoo it away. It was really close to the table and birds back home are so much more afraid of humans.

Squirrels too! I saw one go in a parked strollers and steal a bag of Cheez-It's...

This is going to sound kind of weird, but the birds kind of scare me. Like, they just go up to you and try to take your food. I even named 3 of the ducks at Wilderness Lodge. I know, I'm weird. Don't judge me. :rotfl:

Wow, that's funny about the squirrels!

Yeah, the birds freak me out a little too.... and I don't find naming the ducks wierd. BTW I love the Wilderness Lodge :)

I assume they were Huey, Dewey and Louie:)

I remember when my family went, we ate At a pavilion at the Flame Tree BBQ. We were at the pavilion that u could look across the water 2 expedition everest. There were birds there that kept watching you waiting for when u dropped some food. The people at the other table gave them some food and a whole bunch of them ran over to eat it. I see why my mom never let me feed them. The same thing also happens when we go to the beach.

When I used to get fruit tarts in Epcot, the birds would always try to take them. So, one time a bird flew up and landed on the table, and took a big piece of my fruit tart while looking me directly in the eye. What a rude bird! At least be a little discrete about it! :rotfl2:

Oh my goodness, awesome stories. Those birds are crazy. I guess that what happens with so many people giving them food.
