I was just wondering if any of you ever saw this mag.
My sister inlaw bought me a subscription for christmas this year and I love it, mostly for the birds but the blooms part is nice too.

I just thought I"d give it a mention because they really appreciate peoples support. The only thing I dont like about it is it comes every other month.

Hi discoduck! :)

Yes, Birds and Blooms magazine has been mentioned before by a couple of Buds.

Here's a link to a thread about - Gardening Magazines - where MarkRG recommends Birds and Blooms.

I've never read it. I'll have to pick one up and have a look. :)

A very nice Christmas gift! :)

Yeah I kinda figured but Im new to this board, but thanks for the thread snowark. And I am sure you would enjoy this mag, and especialy any bird lovers.
thanks again

My favorite magazine..:smooth:
No advertisements either..:)

I looked at Chapters last week and I couldn't find this magazine. I'll check again on the weekend, maybe they were just out of stock. :)

I've had a subscription to Birds and Blooms for the last few years. I really love it and it's turned me into a bird nird. It definitely gets me motivated.

Great magazine. I've said before one of my favorite things is to listen to nature. I love just sitting in my yard and listening.

I border wet lands so I have a wide variety of birds. I love sitting, listening and trying to identify each.

While out shoveling our new 10 inches of snow on top of the old 2 feet of old snow on Thursday. I noticed the sound of spring. The birds were singing their spring songs. Even with 3 feet of snow on the ground their biological clock was telling them it's almost spring and time to mate. One of natures lovely sounds is the mating call.

My son, who is a wonderful gardner and has been a bird watcher since he was in college and I gave him a little suction cup feeder for his window, gave me a subscription. I love it.
