One of my projects to keep my hands occupied later this week while I attempt to quit smoking is going to be to paint some bird houses I built myself and put them outside for part of my landscaping at the lake..
I'm concerned about bees making nests inside of the bird houses though.. (These are SMALL bird houses - more for decor than bird housing..) I thought I read somewhere once that if you put vaseline around the openings then bees won't go inside.. Anyone know if that's true?
And if not, any other suggestions?
Thanks!
