The scanners as a "germ button" are a non-issue. You'll be touching booger covered handrails, door handles and ride restraints all day. Just wash your hands frequently and rock on.

^^^ This....It always amazes me how so many people say things like this and then many of them will be the same ones in ride lines shoveling massive amounts of popcorn into their mouth using those same dirty hands that they have touched ALL of Disney with without giving it a second thought.

If you get Covid at Disney, I can almost guarantee it won't be from the finger scanner where you place a single digit.

I dont think people hate them because of germs as much as they are annoying.... especially when it wont read your finger or your kids cant Remember what finger they used.

It's bumming me out to have to do the finger scan - not a big deal, I know, but the lines at the turnstiles moved so much faster and smoother without them!

At least we still have the new security scanning, and of course that outweighs the inconvenience of the finger scan by a mile.

The new security scanning is great but you just know you are going to get into the ticket line where the group in front of you can't get their finger scan to work.

Always and my family went in the one on the right... so they have to wait on the other side
