What exactly do the biometric finger scans measure?Thanks.

The length of your middle and index fingers. Children don't have to do it. It's no biggie.

A CM told me it was the webbing between your fingers they are scanning because everyone's webbing is different like finger prints but then again who really knows.

It has to do with the size of your hand/fingers. We had this type of system installed where I work after 9/11/01. Nothing to be concerned about and it goes pretty fast once you get used to placing your hand in the right position.

Thats the trick......Once you place your hand in the right position!!!!!

When I was there last July I wasted more time waiting for people to get their hands positioned justtttttttttttttttt right! The CM's just wind up letting you go through. Me thinks its pretty silly of Dis to do this.

I couldnt agree more..... it wastes alot of time.

I broke my finger when smaller so it has a curve and can't hit both post correctly .It was a real paid in the you know what in Oct.The CM's kept saying squese it I had an indent on my one finger and the other just didn't want to go right.
I really wish they would just go to photos for AP's

How will it work for a teen, if we buy a 10 day pass, use only 5 days on one trip and save the other 5 for the next trip, but he grows over the year or 2 in between. Obviously his measurements will change, how will this work?

They make you sign the ticket so they would ask for ID. But if it's a teen, they probably wouldn't ask and just reset it.
