Bingo

You just show up and pay there. No advance booking. Show up early for the final round, as it will likely sell out.

I have a feeling we pre-booked bingo only once. We were at the general bingo game, on the morning of the last day, so it was the final bingo session before the big jackpot winning one. I'm pretty sure we were asked at the end of that session if we wanted to pre-book for the final jackpot one later in the day. I could be wrong, but I can't verify with other families are they are all sleeping! :rotfl:

We have done this before also. They do pre-sales for the final jackpot.

Yes, you can pre-book that last round. The place you pre-book it is at the lounge, right after that next-to-last bingo round ends. You don't have to pre-book to play the final round, though.

Glad I am not going crazy! The only advantage to pre-booking that last one is you do not have to turn up as early - more time to do other cruise things! :)

after 5 cruises we finally played Bingo on our last trip. It was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. Besides the Bingo prizes there are raffel prizes. I won a Rain Forest day Pass.

If you plan on paying for every time you go make sure you write that on the certificate. We paid the $80 for the family pack once, had a great time, went back to the next session, then MiL insisted on paying since we paid last time, then the next time SiL paid since she hadn't. Then for final we just all split it. So it was nice that we only ended up paying about $100 total, but sounds like you want to pay for all? So just specify that on your certificate so parents don't try to pay for next round, as they sound very generous.

"Shake it up Betty!"

They don't always seem to offer the pre-purchase for the last game.

I've never Bingo'd before but tried it out with the family when we went on our first Disney Cruise couple of weeks ago. Skipper Steve (the host of the Bingo) was freakin funny. The entire staff had silly jokes and provided good service to everyone. They gave away Disney Cruise Line bags, hats, etc. during each Bingo session. I got to stand up a few times because I was one number away from Bingo. It was hilarious because Steve would play "Single Ladies" by Beyonce when the first person stand up. Little things like that made the trip memorable. Good times .......

Keep in mind that as much fun as it is, almost everyone LOSES!!

We got off Fantasy a couple weeks ago--they had 7 Bingo sessions. Just getting the one $40 electronic card we spent $280 for the week...we actually won once--the first night. Sadly, there were 12 other winners that same game--we walked away with $29!!

On one game I had bingo, but had to split with around 32 people, if I remember correctly. For that game I ended up with $9. This last cruise we went on was more profitable. I won $200+, my 8 year old grandson was play one og my machines and claimed around $500, and my oldest daughter won $700+

32 people???!! Wow, thats a severe outlier. I've usually only seen 2 or 3 winners max. And we've gone to almost every session on every cruise we've done.

The girl who hosted all our games said the most she had seen was 16 winners--we came close!!! Seemed like more people yelling Bingo than were sitting down--half the room were "standers".

Thats the most fun part of bingo is the tension in the room when there are a bunch of standers. We let the kids in our group stand (when we actually are 1 number away)and you can see how nervous and excited they are. Its especially fun when someone yells bingo and they check and it isn't really bingo. Adds a lot of excitement to the games.

Not on any cruise I've been one, but I was told by one of the CMs that the most they has seen was 45.

Sounds like the episode of The Love Boat where the crew held a raffle for a television. Gopher and Isaac had gotten "a great deal" on the tickets. BUT when they drew and announced the number, EVERYONE said they won. Turns out ALL the tickets had the same number!
