Bingo conundrum

ok, so my mom and I were trying to entertain my 2 yr old neice Lily in the car today by singing. I chose the old classic "Bingo" and prceeded to sing it the way I know how. That is blah blah blah "clap i-n-g-o" yada yada yada "clap clap n-g-o" etc.

My mom promptly informs me I'm doing it backwards. she claims it's supposed to be: blah blah blah "b-i-n-g-clap" yada yada yada "b-i-n-clap clap" etc etc etc.

And the argument ensues. So who's right? me or mom? please say me so I can rub her face in it (good heartedly naturally).


meanwhile, my neice was in the back seat yelling " stop it guys stop it!!" I don't think she likes our singing voices.....
