they are still reporting that it was a week ago.that he was kiled. The order was given on April 29th .not today. But that Obama gave the go ahead to announce it tonight that he is dead.

Obama said he ordered the operation a week ago and the firefight and death was TODAY.

I was going by what the president said. Perhaps he ordered the "hit" on Friday, but the mission to go in and see if he was actually there a week ago? Of maybe since today is Sunday, he considers Friday technically "last week"?

im sorry.that was the day it was confirmed that it was Bin Laden. As for why Obama said today they are saying that he chose tonight to announce it .they are saying that
they are saying that over the last 5 6 or 7 days that the Pakistani people had to have wind of him being killed.and yet we are just learning of it.
I am geting this from a couple of news sources.

I think Obama may have just misspoke.

See, I would want him to be captured, just forget about the trial. get him naked as a jay bird, strap him to a drone plane and have it fly into some terrorists training grounds. But, that's just me.
