Whats your opinions of bakinis? Like, who should be wearing them. Do you belive that you should have rock hard abs or a realy flat stomach, or can someone with alittle belly fat wear one?

I say, if you want to wear one, wear one! But I like both bikinis and one-pieces... :confused3

I honestly don't care who wears a bikini. Just make sure it's the right size. I don't want to see your ****s, hun.

On a semi-related note, I'm highly against speedos. My eyes do not like them.

If you're anything up to a size 16, go for it. Otherwise, you probably shouldn't be wearing it. Just because it comes in your size doesn't mean you should wear it.

I am not a fan of obese people in bikinis? Overweight - yeah why not.

Well, I'm 35 and have a 3 year old. I told myself... this year we're taking Maddox to Disney for the first time and I AM ROCKING A BIKINI! LOL! I've been working out really hard since Feb. and my trouble area is my stomach, Honestly, it does'nt matter how much cardio or ab work I do, it will NEVER be ripped, rock solid. However, with that said, I'm STILL wearing it! LOL!! I've worked too hard not to! So, no, I do not think you have to have ROCK hard abs to wear one! I'm not!:thumbsup2 Here's a few pics of me last weekend in our backyard with our son (I'm still working out hard until Sept. though!:woohoo:). Thanks! April

I say if it makes you comfortable, wear one. I don't wear one, but I'd love to one day. I just don't feel comfortable wearing one with my current body type. I'm working hard to change it though.

Some people find it disgusting to see larger people in bikinis. I give the people wearing the bikini props - it just shows they're comfortable enough with themselves to wear one. I see nothing wrong with doing whatever makes you feel good.

I think if you are comfortable with your body then go for it and wear a bikini. I love both bikinis and one pieces for myself.

I'll wear a bikini if I want one.
I think only a few occasions have my eyes been burned out by a bikini and the person in question was like, 10 and obese. I don't really like seeing younger kids in bikini's, let alone larger ones.

thanks for your advice everyone

Im a size 9, weigh 165lbs and am 5'10. I think I have an ok body but I dont know if I have a bikini body

If the belly fat doesnt hang over the sides you, it is fine with me. And I am with BabyPiglet(sorry forgot the name since I havent been on much in a while) about being against speedos

That's actually great for a bikini. I think (note: think) Kim Kardashian is a size 8 and she looks fantastic in a bikini, so why not?

Of course, I'm a straight guy  Oh and I'm totally anti-speedo.

I usually always wear bikinis, because I don't like having to deal with one-pieces. They're a major pain, since I don't enjoy having to pretty much completely strip if I have to visit the restroom AND am in a public place. :headache:

I don't like the way I look in regular bikini's tho. I HATE my thighs. :headache:

I usually buy tankinis, with the bottoms that look more like shorts. I don't really care about the tops so much, just as long as the bottoms cover up my legs a little bit.

I think everyone up to a certain point can wear a bikini. They make them in different shapes and forms to fit many body types. Honestly, I believe someone to be a little over weight in a decent bikini that fits them looks 10 times better than the same person in a one piece. One pieces don't really flatter your stomach much in my opinion. As long as you have good posture and know how to hold yourself and are comfortable in your body, anybody can pull off the two piece. :)

If you feel good about wearing one, then go for it.

Who cares what other people think? Not me :thumbsup2.

I also don't waste my time looking at other people in bathing suits and critiquing them.

I save that for men wearing crocs and sox...

I say if u can go for it but if u cant please dont. Like i was in Wal-mart the other day there was a bikini in size 3x y would any 3x person wear a bikini. I myself am overweight and will NEVER wear a bikini(unless lose weight) strictly halter tops that cover stomach and board shorts for me.

I think people who are confident in their own body and aware of their size (like, not really overweight) are the people who should wear bikinis. I mean, I don't like when girls put on a little teeny bikini, which ususally looks great on them, and then they wrap themselves in a towel and barely go into the pool. If you're gonna wear it, wear it with confidence! Also, I don't like when people wear really small, tight ones when it clearly doesn't fit. I'm sure they could find ones that do fit, but they don't. There's a girl in my school who is slightly overweight, mostly very top heavy. She posted pictures on Facebook of her in this itsey bitsey bikini which was not flattering in the least bit.
With that said, I'm kind of overweight, and while I might possibly be able to wear a bikini, I don't want to until I lose more weight. Because honestly, I would not at all have the confidence yet, and IMO not the body either.

If anyone (even if they're a size 2) wears a bikini but they aren't comfortable, then that's what I don't want to see. Nothing is worse than seeing a person forced to wear a bikini, wrapped up in a towel or big shirt sitting by the side of the pool.

But hey, if you're a size whatever, and you think you look gorgeous in a bikini, then go for it! It's all about the confidence.
