I played around with taking pictures while riding my bike today. I mounted the camera on a ball head on a Bogen clamp, pointed it back at me, and took some pictures. None were great, but this one was the closest to the concept I was looking for.
It was shot at 19mm focal length, 1/50s shutter, f/11, ISO 400, -1 stop flash compensation, AV mode.
I was playing around with the clamp because I'm toying with video taping my commute some time next week. I'm trying to get into the habit of riding my bike to the office when the weather isn't too bad. It's a 9 mile ride when I avoid the major roads. It's really a great commute with lots of heavily wooded stretches, wide shoulders on the roads, lots of bike paths, and even a final stretch along the Woodlands Waterway.
