Okay, I'm all for riding bikes when and where you can, don't have a problem with them on the roadways, etc. But if I recall correctly from my bike safety info from scouts, 4-H, etc. If you are riding your bike on the road with traffic (yes you are supposed to ride with the flow of traffic, not against) aren't you supposed to yield to the same traffic laws as well. For instance if you are barreling down on a red light and it's still red, aren't you supposed to stop just as you would when driving a motor vehicle? I almost crashed into a lady on her bike who blew through a red light at an intersection I was crossing.....I had the green light......her's was red and all those cars she passed were stopped at the red light.
