Has anyone rented the bikes on Castaway Cay? Are there special bike trails? Is it possible to see quite a lot in the hour's rental? Or is it just too hot to be a pleasant thing to do?

I rented the bike a few years ago, it was fun. You can ride from the rental location, down the runway and over by Serenity Bay there is a bike trail that was not too long. We went all the way there and back and still had time to spare.

We also rented bikes this past Feburary, it was a fun way to explore more of the highland, you can ride on the tarmac to go to serenity beach, then there is a trail from there to another point on the island, which was nice, and very quiet. 1 hour was plenty of time, it also was cool the day we were there, so it was very pleasant to ride a bike.

This was one of the best things I did on the cruise. As my family was swimming, snorkeling, eating, banana boating, etc. I went off by myself, rented a bike, and explored. Went down the runway, to the bike trail. Took pictures, enjoyed the air. I do not know statistics exactly, but it seemed 90% of the cruisers remained on the family beach, with very few people at the adult beach, and even fewer on the trails. It was very relaxing and I highly recommend doing it.

My family rented bikes at castaway cay and we had a great time. We toured the island and past serenity bay there is a trail and at the end of the trail was a water cooler incase you needed something to drink. The kids especially enjoyed it. In fact, It poured rain - a HARD rain; and we rode anyway! I felt like a child again, riding my bike through mud puddles in the rain - fun, fun.
