Bike Path on CC

Anyone have any feedback on the bike path on CC? Is it the same path that the 5k is ran on? I am thinking that I would like to take a nice long ride early in the morning, but can't find a lot of details.

Yes, same path... very wide, can't really get lost. 5K people are the first off the ship, so they may be done by the time you get a bike ??

We walk the hike/bike path at Castaway every time we're there. It begins just outside Serenity Bay and continues on for maybe a mile, give
or take. At the end is a beautiful viewing area of the ocean and you can also see Serenity Bay back in the distance. Started out
years ago as a dirt path but is now a paved road making it much easier to walk or ride. A water station is located along the way and another
one at the end. Enjoy.

There is a fun-to-find geocache stashed at the end of the path...when you visit CC in July, the ride may be extremely warm but in December, a beautiful and peaceful experience!
We found the path around the lookout tower was busy with other bikers (and a few walkers) but the path north of Serenity Bay was deserted...
Good news: you can't get lost...the roads available to guests are straight, dead-end, and are well marked.

Unless you loop several times it's not going to be a long ride. It's the same area available for the 5k.

Except for the paid CC challenge after the 2015 marathon weekend, I have never had the 5k experience involving being first off. It can happen but it is by NO means an absolute. All those times I have had bicyclists out on the 5k course during the 5k.

We love the bike path on CC, its a nice path, especially nice and early when its not sweltering.
