After reading the thread about poster that won 4 tics for WDW it got me thinking???? What has everyone here won.....I want to hear about the good and the bad!

I just won 2 tics for the wizard of Oz last week. It was for the national tour of the play. My ds bday was the next night so we went to the play and out to dinner to chilis where I had a coupon for a free kids dinner.

The biggest prize I ever won was a four night trip to Las Vegas for 2. I won the prize in a drawing at a local travel show. It included airfare and hotel. I still had to come up with food & entertainment. The biggest jackpot I ever won was about $1800 in a slot machine on my first trip out there. Vegas has since gotten that back and then some . My biggest Lottery win was $3 and not many of those...

The biggest thing I won was an iPad. Then, lots of smaller tix and gift cards. I would love to win a trip to Disney!

Last March I won a trip to Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Air, hotel, tickets, after party tickets, pre show party with Sugarland and Blake Shelton, 500 cash and 2 $50.00 gift cards for the MGM. It was amazing. Last night they were on for 2011 and my dh looks at me and says,"I guess you didn't win this year" DUH! The only part that stinks is that they sent me a 1099 and I had to pay all the taxes on a 5000.00 trip. But it was worth it.

My mom won a jackpot at Bingo a few years back of $19,000. That was by far the most I ever heard of anyone winning at Bingo. She loved to play.

I enter contests all the time.

Last year my biggest prize was $100. The only Disney related thing I have won was 2 tickets to Tarzan on Broadway (sent dh and one of the ds)

This year I have won some books. That is it so far. If I could only get a disney pin sometime, now that would be BIG!

I used to enter online sweepstakes all the time. I won all kinds of crazy stuff. I stopped doing it, but I am thinking about doing it again. Some things I'd enter myself and some I'd enter DH. The biggest I ever won was a pair of tickets to see Black Sabbath w/Ozzy Osborne. They were front row seats and valued at $1,200. DH won a $2,000 credit at Jordan's Furniture. This broke down to be a set of Bunkbeds, a leather recliner, a night stand, a dining room chair, a lamp, a nighlight and four years later $3 off our current sofa

My Dh won a new Harley Davidson motorcycle from a multi-town radio station giveaway a few years back....but he sold it and we took a FEW trips to WDW!!

I once won a trip to Boston to see FSU play Boston College (football). I got round trip airfare for two, 2 nights in a Sheraton hotel, 2 tickets to a Red Sox game, 2 tickets for the football game, and $250 cash.

So now that I know people can actually win these things, I enter everything!!!!

The biggest prize I won was $3600 cash from a 50/50 at a rodeo.

I stretched it a long way in doing some home improvements, new kitchen and bathroom floors, new kitchen door, some work done outside.

I won a trip to Barbados around 1993/94.

I went to the bar after work one Friday with 2 of my co workers just for a few drinks. Well, one of the radio stations was there hosting a competion to be entered to win 2 free tickets-hotel, air & food for 4 days to the Barbados.

The 3 of us agreed that if one of us won, we'd split the 3rd ticket. One of my friends had to drink a bar rag drink-basically they squeezed the bar rag into a cup. Gross (and she is a nurse like me), I know. The other friend, he drank out of some random strangers shoe. Again, gross. I was a bit worried about what I had to do & was relieved to have to drink out of a condom-a newly opened condom...phew!

Anyways, we all got entered along with other people & they picked my name. It was sponsored by Malibu rum & 2 people from all 50 states went. We ended up on the plane with 4 other winners-2 from Jersey, 2 from NY & us 3 from CT.

I can tell you after that first night of free drinks, I didn't drink the rest of the weekend.


I also won about $500+ from Foxwoods on the slots back in the 90's. My then BF, now dh, was no where to be found, well with in eye shot. The girl next to me told me she'd watch my machine so I could find him...um..yeah, I am not that gullible. I found him after, handed him the money. Told him we were done & dinner was on me.

My DH and I won the 50/50 raffle at the Cape Cod Baseball League all star game in 1997, we split about $950! It was awesome, and we treated our friends to dinner at Kool Kone, our local fish & chips & ice cream place.
eta: I used my half to make a tuition payment for school LOL!

I won a week at CSR during the World for a Dollar thing..and then couldn't go. Stupid cancer. Probably would have been the only time we'd ever stayed on site.

A bottle of wine and a ticket for a glassbottom boat ride. I was eight and we were leaving from vacation the next day so I wasn't able to enjoy either.

As an adult I sort of won a door prize. The real winner had left the event so they called a second number and that was mine. It was for a one-night stay at the Marriott in Key Largo. We knew the manager and she upgraded us to a huge suite. That was really nice.

in April 2000, I won a trip to the Galapagos Islands, everything included! It was fabulous!

I enter contests every day, it is an addiction for sure! I am in Canada and belong to a few different contest forum where we all post what we find. I win little stuff each month but my biggest prizes have been trips, I won one to Vancouver, one to Mexico and one to Pittsburg (dont laugh, it was great!)My dream win is an all expense paid trip to Disney (but that is the collective dream of most of us here right?) My Dad won a car when I was about 12 and it just kind of resonated with me, I will never forget when he called home from work to tell my mom, she was crying and screaming and jumping up and down. We really needed that car and it was like a dream. Good luck to everyone in all you do, contesting or not!

My DH won a trip to Disneyland. It included airfare for 4, 2 rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, ground transfers and $100 food voucher. He then had the chance to win $50,000 once there as it was a Pirates of the Caribbean themed contest but he unfortunately didn't win that. They did have the park open one evening for all the winners about 1,200 people so it was pretty much empty and we felt like we had the park to ourselves.

Not sure if this counts as it's not really a contest. But have also been selected by the Oprah lottery for show tickets this year and last year.
