Wow! There are some great losses being reported today! Congrats to everyone who is continuing on our journey. :cheer2:

I maintained this week, but I consider myself lucky considering "the great doughnut incident" that occurred this weekend. :lmao: Still can't believe I ate 1.5 doughnuts - only because it has been YEARS since I've had a doughnut! Oh well. Gotta say, they were pretty darn good. :rolleyes1 But I'm back on track now and want to see a loss next Tuesday.

I've had a hard time checking in for the challenges lately, but I'll be back when I can! Great job everyone!

Hi All -

I'm up .4 this week. I don't know why :confused3 I've followed my points, I did a little activity, it isn't that time of the month??

Oh well, I won't give up because of one little setback on the scale. As for my week, I am doing Weight Watchers Core Program this week instead of the WW Flex Program. Maybe my body is just getting used to the same foods day after day.

My school semester starts today - I'll be taking two classes each Tuesday and Thursday evening (as well as one class online). I just have to re-arrange my eating schedule so that I'm not eating a big meal at 9:00PM. Maybe I'll do breakfast for dinner on those two nights.

Have a great week everybody,
Laura

Good morning How is everyone doing on weigh in day. I am up 1 pound but that is just a blip and I will be down next week. I will check in later.

This is why I got Dona as my buddy. I needed a rational thinker by my side. Oh boy did I need that.

I'm down 2.7 and thrilled. I put in 10 for the monthly January thread and that puts me at 10.8 I believe for this challenge and January. And at least 36 pounds over the last couple of years (I say at least b/c that's all I can verify with a number since before the 36 I didn't weigh myself)

I want to thank everyone on this thread for just being on the thread. Last week was a huge mental week for me. I gained a half a pound and usually I get so irrational about it. So it was a hurdle to cross that feels, and I apologize for the drama of these words, momumental to me. I know that I can have a gain, explained or unexplained, and come on here and post and carry on on my journey. I'm very grateful for that.

To everyone that gained. Even Bob, trainer kick your behind BL Bob, says, "sometimes the body will do what the body will do". Or something like that!:lmao: I'm sure he said it better.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone I am down this week 5.2. I am so excited:banana:
To my buddy Mackeysmom hang in there... We can do this we will all have good weeks and bad weeks that is for sure:hug:

Another gainer here checking in. I gained 1 pound. I know that is not too bad but it is still a gain :headache:

Congrats to all the Losers! And to all of us that have gained or maintained keep it up. This is a new week and a new begining. We will all be down next week!

A special note to my sistah Seaspray. Hugs to you and I will keep you in my prayers. I hope everything works out with your health issues.

Have a great week everyone!

Michele :cheer2:

Congrats to losers and maintainers :thumbsup2
I'm up 1.4 lbs this week :headache: I think I will be glad that at least it is not more than that. For others who have gained too, let's pick ourselves up and try again ... we can do it ..

whgrn, hugs to you! I don't know really what to tell you except don't give up! How often do you see your nutritionist? Are you writing down everything? Are you measuring everything? The only thing that I can think of is maybe there are hidden calories or sodium that is surprising you. When you cook foods are you using nonstick sprays, etc, or butter? those could send in some unwanted calories. The other thing is that my friend had a hysterectomy as well, but she didn't have her ovaries taken out, so her body still goes through hormonal changes each month that does make her weight fluctuate and retain water. Can you share what your plan is with us, maybe we can help? Some more hugs!:flower3:

Thanks Vija, and all of you for your support. I saw my nutritionist up at Canyon Ranch. I will be emailing her tonite to ask what I should do. Yes, I write down every bite. I count the butter I use in cooking. I do still have one ovary, so those hormonal changes could be a factor.

Basically, I'm on about 1900 calories a day (which seems high, and I always have a very hard time finishing the food--I usually can't finish). We're talking 12 ounces of protein or equivalent, 6 veggies, 3 fruits, 6 starch, 2 nuts/seeds, 4 fats and 2 dairy. That just seems like way too much. So until I talk to her, I'm going to shoot for 4-5 veggies, 2-3 fruit, 6 starch, 1-2 nuts/seeds, 3-4 fats, 1-2 dairy, and 9-10 protein. That should put me down to about 1600, which is way more reasonable to me.

I'll let y'all know what she says.

Annette---Go Giants!!!!

I am from NY. Use to watch the giants at summer camp in Westchester....

GO GIANTS!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:
Sorry, but we're a Yankees family, and the Giants too. Boston got the World Series. They can't have the Super Bowl too!!!

I am down 2.8 this week after a 1.4 gain last week, so I am very happy. Now, just to stay on track and keep up the downward trend.

Congratulations to everyone who has lost and will be seeing a loss when they step on that scale this morning. Hang in there if you maintain or see a gain this week, and you'll see it gone next week.

Have a great day everyone!!

Great job, buddy!!!

I'm down 0.8 this week and am super excited about it!

My Buddy and I both gained this week.:sad2:
I am up 2.6 lbs. Its my own fault.:guilty: Really made some bad food choices while out of town over the weekend.
Its a new week!!! This week my Buddy and I will be "LOSERS".:cheer2: :cheer2:

Checking in late today. I've been in training and on the road working today. I just got home, ate dinner and still have 700 calories to hit my 1200 mim calories.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE I lost 6.2 pounds this week. I know it isnt the most considering, that darn new england fan who lives here lost 11 but I am so excited. I am down below 300 lbs for the first time in years. I can now put a 20# loss in my sig.

Congrats everyone who lost. For those who gained or maintained this week ive been there, i know its frustating but just keep it up and post here when you want to give up and we will talk you down from the ice cream container you want to dive into.

Amanda

GO GIANTS!!!!:cheer2:

Way to go Amanda!!! :woohoo: :cheer2: I totally know what you mean about being "in the 2s". That was such a milestone for me when I hit it.

And tell that (ugh!) Eagles fan that 11 pounds is great, but that the Eagles are not a real team. In order to be a real time, you actually have to WIN some games!:lmao:

Go Giants!!!:cheer2:

I weighed in this morning and was exactly the same as last week. I'll take it though because I did not make very good food choices last week.

Congratulations to all the losers out there :cheer2: Hang in there gainers and maintainers  We're gonna do better this week!!

Ohmom- thanks for the answer about the puzzle/library thing. I figured it wouldn't count, but no big deal. I have been pretty slack about this weeks challenge so I'm sure those points wouldn't have really mattered anyway :rolleyes1 I did manage to clean some which is big for me :thumbsup2

I have been working on a Mickey Mouse photomosaic puzzle and am really enjoying it.

I joined the gym yesterday :cool1: I was supposed to go to step class tonight w/ two coworkers. One was sick though and both myself and the other coworker got bogged down in work and let the time get past us. We are planning to try to go to water aerobics tomorrow though. This time I will go easier and not kill myself though :scared:

Have a great Wednesday everyone!!

Hi everyone,

Big congrats to all the losers. I lost 1 pound this week. A little discouraged but I am pleased. The time is going by quicklly, itis hard to believe that we are starting week #5.

Princess Vija, way to go, and the others that have lost 5 pounds plus, way to go!

I am looking forward to the super bowl on sunday,

GO PATRIOTS!!!!

Should be a good game and hope for an entertaining game to watch.

My goals is to have some good snacks, like carrots and celery to munch on. I could have popcorn too, right?

Take care everyone!

I have to report a .6# gain this week. I wish I could say that I don't know how because I do.

I have been really struggling with food. I can't seem to get satisified. Right now instead of fighting it I am going to give into it and allow myself to eat whatever I want. I will continue to exercise but I am not limiting my eating. After a few days I will regroup and get back on program. That means that I am going to plan out my meals in advance and make sure to have my lunch & snack(s) ready. I am finding lately that I am getting hungry in the afternoon (about 3-4pm) so instead of depending on the vending machine at work I will have something ready that will keep me within my calorie range.

I am also debating on wether to skip my weigh in on Sunday or make myself face the scale. I guess we will have to see when that time comes.

I am down one pound from last week and another for this week for a loss of 2 pounds since I last properly reported. That has me pretty happy considering I have been sick and it is that Time of month.

Way to go losers, maintaining is better then gaining, for the gainers just keep making healthy choices.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
