Hear Ye, Hear Ye, the Weight Keeper speaks
Hey losers - we had lots of losers this week and that is great.
We started the week with 32 participants. 2 folks have not checked in for three weeks and have been dropped from the challenge. Of course they will be welcomed with open arms if they decide to make a report to me in the future.
We are now at 30 current participants. 8 people did not check in for the week. 2 of them have missed 2 weeks and 6 have missed one week.
22 participants weighed in this week. We had 2 gains for 3.5 pounds, 2 maintains, and 18 losses totaling 36 pounds for a weekly cumulative net loss of 32.5 pounds. What a nice loss this week. Our dropped members took 10 pounds from our cumulative loss which leaves us with a cumulative loss of 359.2 pounds. That is almost a 12 pound loss per person. That is impressive.
(drum roll and fanfare please)

Congratulations Sue!!! You have had some up and down weeks but you have keep working hard and have accomplished much with this challenge. Keep it up.
Well this is it ladies. It is hard to believe I will only hear from you one more time before I start a little vacation from my Biggest Loser duties. I will still participate in our next BL challenge but will miss hearing from you all.
Are you ready for your last chance workout? What are your plans this week to finish with a bang? I know you can do it. We are worth it and the effort we put into developing healthy habits will help us for the rest of our lives. These habits will even help extend our lives. I for one have much to stick around for and I want to enjoy every minute the future holds for me instead of stressing worrying and having deep regrets for all the things my weight has prevented me from enjoying.
Let's do this. I wanna say 'Pride on three" but I really hate that mantra. It's used by the obnoxious men on the NBC Biggest Loser TV show. Can someone come up with something better for us DIS losers?
Have a healthy day!
