I don't want it to end either. I really liked the challenges, they really helped put some concepts into reality. See, I know what to do, I just don't always do it!

Had a loss this week. :goodvibes

Congrats buddy!:goodvibes I had a 3 pound gain this week due to put on butt rest (that is what I call it when my doc says no more nothing except RICE), pain medication use, and poor eating. I am feeling better and hope next week is better!:goodvibes

Hi Everyone,

I am very happy to report a 3 pound weight loss this week.

Words of encouragement to everyone, gainers, maintainers, and losers.

We are all in this together.

I would be willing to keep on after this specific BL challenge ends in 3 weeks. Is it that time already?

Yes Losers our BL 4 challenge is coming to a close, our last weigh in will be April 15. I have seen many folks here concerned about this ending and what will happen next.

The question is what do you want to happen after this challenge ends?

Would you like a BL alumni thread to check in, encourage, and socialize on?

Would anyone be willing to be the thread starter or help occasionally with this (if Dona is too busy)?

Do you like reporting your weight each week or would you like to stop doing that?

Would someone be willing to be the weight keeper? (sorry, getting a little burned out here)

Or would someone maybe be willing to help me?

Any thoughts on weekly challenges?

What can we do to keep our momentum going and keep losing?

Would you like a new BL challenge to start when a new season of BL starts on NBC?

Chime in and voice your opinions. Throw out those ideas, we need to keep working together to achieve our weight loss goals and your opinion counts.

Have a healthy day!

dare2dream Yes Losers our BL 4 challenge is coming to a close, our last weigh in will be April 15. I have seen many folks here concerned about this ending and what will happen next.

The question is what do you want to happen after this challenge ends? I would like a new group to start after the current BL ends. It is helpful to have the accountability factor.

Would you like a BL alumni thread to check in, encourage, and socialize on? Yes. I feel I have made friends here.

Would anyone be willing to be the thread starter or help occasionally with this (if Dona is too busy)? I would be willing to help in this area.

Do you like reporting your weight each week or would you like to stop doing that? Yes, this mere step is what keeps me accountable. Seeing it or having to post it.

Would someone be willing to be the weight keeper? (sorry, getting a little burned out here)

Or would someone maybe be willing to help me? I could help, but would not want the full responsibility all by my lonesome.

Any thoughts on weekly challenges? I try to do the challenges weekly, however, did much better with the exercise challenges as opposed to the others.

What can we do to keep our momentum going and keep losing? Just from what I am seeing here on the other posts, we need to have some continuation of the BL in some capacity. I understand that some of the "behind the scene activities" are a bit much, but at the least I would suggest a thread and a weekly weigh in, which of course then means e need to have a weight keeper.

Would you like a new BL challenge to start when a new season of BL starts on NBC? When does the new season start? Is there something to cover us over the summer?

Chime in and voice your opinions. Throw out those ideas, we need to keep working together to achieve our weight loss goals and your opinion counts.

I have posted my responses to your questions. Any one else have ideas? Thanks again for doing this!

Gee, if I keep on getting bronchitis over and over like this, I'll be a size 6 in no time. LOL over

3.5 pounds this week. Yes, I am the queen of losing NOTHING for weeks to only lose multiple pounds in a week over and over and over again. LOL!

The question is what do you want to happen after this challenge ends? Would you like a BL alumni thread to check in, encourage, and socialize on? - I like the idea of an alumni thread. I don't think it even needs to be a weekly thread. Just one of the 'jumbo" thread is fine.

Would anyone be willing to be the thread starter or help occasionally with this (if Dona is too busy)? - My answer to the first questions, takes care of this

Do you like reporting your weight each week or would you like to stop doing that? Would someone be willing to be the weight keeper? (sorry, getting a little burned out here) - I think reporting our losses in the main thread is fine. I don't think we need to have someone tracking it.

Any thoughts on weekly challenges? My only thought is to only do ONE item at a time ie: exercise at least 30 mins, 5 days a week. etc...

Would you like a new BL challenge to start when a new season of BL starts on NBC? - i am not sure I will participate in the challange next time but I think another one would be great. And who knows I might change my mind.

Hey fellow BL WISHer's everyone seemed to do pretty darn good over the holiday weekend. GREAT JOB! count me on the losing side too - not feeling great all weekend helped me but a family dinner with Molli's family this weekend will be my time to "remember I am NOW eating healthier"........... ah but yes - if I am the "maker" of the meal I have it in my control - right???

I am really trying to get a routine going "again" myself - off to TM here in just a few:yay:

Raenstoirm (buddy) FABULOUS - another down week for you - and WTG jumping in another challenge to keep focused:dance3:

Make it a good day everyone - healthy choices make a healthier you !

mornin' losers.....

this week is challenge-free --- just a break and will resume next week. :thanks: Princess Vija for posting challenges in my absence

i'm struggling with feeling an obligation to polish off leftovers b4 making new meals, i am picking the healthiest leftovers (baked sweet potato, turkey breast, 7 layer salad) but none the less i'm not taking the time to figure out the calories either. and i've got to get off the sugar again!!

i'm off to workout this morning---who is joining me??

I would be happy to help in the weight keeping- numbers are my thing. But A friday weigh in would be better and I could do it over the week end.

We could keep this going until Memorial day and then give every one he summer off and start back up in the fall.- just a suggestion.

I could also help with number crunching. I love playing with excel!
I will also start thinking up some new challenges. There is a lot of stuff floating around in my head, I just need to write it down. I like the idea of starting a new "last chance (workout) to lose weight before summer" idea that ends on Memorial Day. After that, people are on vacation, so it will be hard to check in every week. We can a have a Losers support group for the summer and restart the challenge come labor day.
If this works for everyone I will come up with the 5 challenges myself if no one else is interested in designing them for the last chance BL.

OK I have come up with the 5 challenges for the BL last chance 5 weeks. (Yes i am at work and should be working, but that is neither here nor there). Anyway, I will take responsibility for the challenges and keeping track of those points as well as help out the weight keeper as needed if we do want to continue this through Memorial Day.

So who else is in?

Good morning everyone! Sorry for being MIA. We had an extra 7 people in our house Wed-Sun and when they left discovered that the girls and their MySpacing had left us with a few trojan horses. Well, Dad and I finally seem to have that corrected and I'm back online more regularly.

My weigh in this week was a maintain. I am VERY thankful for that as at one point over the weekend I was up 3 or 4. Considering TOM, Easter, the oh so not eating well with company, and not tracking, I am very happy with a maintain.

Moving forward, I like the ideas I've seen so far, espcially moving forward to Memorial Day. I would be willing to help as needed also - challenges, weight collecting, challenge point collecting, etc. Just let me know what is needed once we get things in order.

After some down time on exercise, I am working my way back to it. Monday I did 30 on the bike. Then yesterday I did 45 on the bike and another 45 of strength. Today I've got plans to walk and probably bike as well. With the nicer weather setting in, I'm figuring out what errands can be done walking instead of driving for added exercise.

Count me in for continuing. I feel comfortable with this group and the challenges (especially the exercise ones) have really helped me stay focused in that area. I'm afraid I can't help out much because with my new commitment to exercise I'm barely finding enough time in my days to do others things I should (like working on the site for our cruise). Sounds like we already have some people who love to number crunch so that will help!

Count me in. I have a few trips planned over the summer so I like the idea of keeping it going and just checking in. Then if we are not as skinny as we would like:rolleyes1 we can get back on after labor day.

I'm torn.

This is why I brought it up. I'm very conflicted. A lot of emotions about the end. I've been successful by myself. However, I have never been so successful in such a short time period. (My previous weight loss was over years!)

So obviously something is working well. The group dynamic? The scale? Also, I suspect since I'm pushing through a lot of lifetime personal issues as well. I'm sure shedding that crap has made losing weight easier. Actually, I know that.

But I still hate the scale in my life. More than dislike I don't like how it affects my psyche sort of thing.

So voila - torn.

I thought I would give it some thought before I posted but I still can't decide what's best for me.:rolleyes1 Yes, I'm annoying. :lmao:

I know whatever I choose I will not be weighing in more than every two weeks. If that was okay with everyone that continues of course. Or I will be trying it all out on my own - "scaleless" or not as often.

My head hurts. :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:

As for Brenda's great questions. If I do stay I would be willing to help out with any tabulations. But that's not helpful if I still don't know. :sad2:

Thanks for listening to my rambling.

Lisa

Sorry i was really busy yesterday so i didnt post my loss.

As for keeping the bl4 going im all for it. I need the support of the group to keep on track. I guess if we dont i can just keep my wish journal updated but i like the support of the group. I cant help with the tabulations becuase i need to focus on keeping my business sucessful and im on our county fair committee. I need to find voluteers, sell raffle tickets and help out the committee. This is the first time im one the committee and didnt realize the time committment.

Everyone have a great day.

Amanda

Next week will be a better week for you I am sure. We can do this. :cheer2:

I would also like to keep the group going. I really like the accountability and focus that BL has given me. I'm a little worried that without needing to "weigh-in" I will lose my motivation.

I am happy to help in whatever way anyone needs me to.

Just wanted to brag though.....I am very proud of myself for throwing food away yesterday when I realized I was full. I was eating a second piece of pizza at lunch and as I was eating it I realized I was trying to finish it because it was there not because I was still hungry. I felt like that was a real breakthrough for me. :goodvibes

Good morning all!! I am all for keeping our group going. The weekly weigh in is very motivational for me and "normally" helps keep me on track. (Nothing kept me on track last week) I would like to throw out the idea of a Thursday or Friday weigh in though. I'll go with whatever the group wants but either of those days would be better for me.
