Which begs the question since they were in the Riv when it opened. Why weren't they in the OKW reno? They are in the SSR? Would have been nice to have them at OKW.

Probably because the OKW refurb began Fall 2017, before any decison to do resorts other than the upcoming Riviera (which actually did not open until Dec 2019). The decision to do all resorts other than Riviera was announced at the Dec 2018 annual meeting, at which time the majority of OKW was already done with refurb. SSR, whose refurb began in mid-2019 and is now close to finish, has the Murphy beds.

OKW has 2 full queen size beds in studios and 2nd bedroom. In the living room for 1,2 and 3 bedrooms there are windows behind the sleeper sofa. I don’t see them covering up windows for them.

The 2nd bed in the studios is the #1 thing stopping lots of people I know from buying dvc.
Disney NEEDS to change all those old pull out couch beds into either a permanent queen bed or a pull down from the wall queen size murphy bed like Riviera and Saratoga’s refurbishment.
Also, beautiful walk in showers like in the Poly and the Grand studios.

totally agree - with 2 beds & no couch, it's too much like a basic hotel room.

The extra room is nice but when 2 adults need to sleep on it, it is no fun. That’s why I think the Riviera style queen murphy bed is a nice compromise and should be the standard

I'd love to have enough points to stay at a 1 bedroom at Kidani for 3 or 4 weeks a year. Well, as long as someone else is buying these points for me, let's make it 4 weeks!

FYI I think you mean Murphy bed, which folds down from the wall. A trundle bed pulls out from underneath another bed.
