Just back from 3 days and 2 nights at PBH. First time at Universal resort.
Left Miami at 5 am and arrived at PBH at 8:15 am. We checked in and the room is not ready so we were given our room keys for the FOTL access and off we were to the parks after a quick bite to eat from things we brought from home. We hit the water taxi and arrived @ IOA at about 9:30am. We picked up our 5 day for a 2 day price tickets at will call and off we went to ride.
*Spiderman was a very good simulation ride and my kids love spiderman to boot.
*Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls was a blast. Loved that final drop.
*Popeye was a wet experience so the kids loved it.
Lunch at the snack are outside Popeye's. Burgers ,chili doggs, chickes strips. Typical theme park food not great not bad.
*On to Jurassic park. Starts out really boring and when that big dino comes out a great ride to the bottom.
* Spiderman again.
*Wife wants to ride Hulk and loved it. Said it was the most intense ride she has ever experience.
*Dr Dooms fearfal was different, able to see the whole park from above.
*Dr Seuss landings for the 2 year old. She loved all the rides as well as wll of the rest of us.
BAck to the hotel to get our bags to our room. The room 2377 was excellent. The most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on in a hotel. My wife loved the bathroom so big and that tub to relax and watch the TV, I need to get one of those at home. We hit the pool for a couple of hours. Kids enjoyed the beach/pool and waterslide and wife and I enjoyed the hot tubs.
Off to Bongo's at DTD to meet up with friends that work there and were able to get 50%off dinner. You can't beat that we ate and drank and spent less than $40.
