I got a call late yesterday saying that Big Thunder would be closed on Feb 3rd when we have a reservation.

The call came on my cell and I was in a busy restaurant so didn't catch it all. The CM said it would be open other days that week.

My reservation is still showing on the DL website and I can't find anything about BT being closed. It's not listed as closed on the calendar.

Any idea what days it is closed? Wondering about rescheduling.

Not a clue but I sure hope it's not a long closure! We have reservations for February 7th.... :confused3 If you call and check, could you see if this is a one day thing?

I got a call about a week ago they cancelled my reservations for Jan 26th, she said that the restaurant is going to be closed during January and February during the week but open on weekends. I did have to go online and cancel my reservation so they wouldn't charge my card for a no-show just in case.

I haven't heard anything for this year, but in the past it was not uncommon for Big Thunder Ranch BBQ to be closed on the weekdays during the slower times of the year. I went to the Disneyland.com calendar and looked at a random assortment of days in Jan and Feb, and on Mondays through Thursdays, it says "No Times Available", whereas on Fridays through Sundays, it listed operating hours. So, it looks like the restaurant may be closed Monday through Thursday during the next two months.

Hmm then maybe he was saying it was open on the Sunday and we have a reservation booked for Tuesday. Why is there reservation system letting people book if it's going to be closed?

Truthfully...I think it's a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. They've since fixed that (at least when I checked just now, they were no longer taking reservations for 2/6). So, I suspect one of two things happened: 1) the dining reservation system was loaded without checking the operating schedule or 2) the restaurant decided to close after the dates were loaded into the dining system.
