Big Thunder Mountain RR and Splash Mountain- not open until 10am?

Hi~
Is it true that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain don't open until 10am?
The day we're planning on going, regular park opening is at 9am, but we're going for EMH so the park will open at 8am.
I know they neither BTMR or Splash Mountain are open early, but I was hoping to run over there at 9am, but don't want to waste my time running over if they're not even open then. I heard that the entire Fronteirland may not be open until 10am (so we wouldn't even be able to get Fast Passes).
Also...will they issue Fast Passes for BTMR before the ride opens- should Fronteirland be open?
I really appreciate any feedback. I'm diligently trying to plan our itinerary for our MK morning.

no- they open early for the morning emh, just like all the oter rides

Thunder & Splash should open at 9am . They are not opened at 8 for extra magic hour.

This is correct. They are open for the evening EMHs at MK, but not for morning EMHs.
