big thunder mountain..open????

When checking the schedule last week BTM was on the list as closed but when I looked again this morning its off the list. Did they reopen the ride?

No. BTMRR will be closed for awhile. There have even been rumors that it may not return in it's current form.

It's probably just speculation, but I read it could be closed for a year.

Just to tell you a lot is closed. Haunted Mansion will be closed ( will reopen oct.3 as haunted mansion holiday), Splash Mountain, Big thunder, space mountain, Sleeping beauty Castle, Fantasyland thearter, and Disney Gallery. Dca not that much. Superstar Limo, Francis Lady bug boogie (which will reopen the 27th) and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (which will also reopen the 27th)

Thanks, disneyland web site has added BTM to their long closure list. On a brighter note we have arriving on the 27th so the DCA attractions will be open again. Any chance of Haunted Mansion opening earlier? we're leaving the 3rd.

I was there last week (9/22-9/27).

BTMRR, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion were closed.

The balcony for Fantasmic was closed for painting the week before we arrived, but we watched Fantasmic from the balcony on 9/26. The Disney Gallery was closed so we had to get to the balcony up the back stairs.

According to Mouseplanet Splash Mtn will be closed for refurb until Nov 6
