When the line splits into left and right lanes, DO NOT take the right! The FastPass line feeds into the right lane, so it moves much more slowly. Avoid our Big Thunder Mistake--take the left lane!

Actually even in the first hour of park opening when there are no fastpasses, so both lanes continue all the way to the loading dock, the left lane is *slightly* quicker even then - it has one less switchback than the right, plus is on the inside line as you go down the final ramp, meaning you will end up about one train ahead of anyone who you were standing beside in the queue who took the right hand side. Yes, I am sad enough to have tested that...
