I had a lovely day. Thanks to Kev and Tam for organising the wonderful venue - it was perfect. Not only was the main room beautiful, but it was the perfect size and layout for our gathering. Everyone was able to be together and all interact with one another - often these events end up as several separate groups. The catering facilities were superb, too. Oh and Robert Plant used it last week.

Jules' cheesecake was delicious and she got a big telling off when we got back to Kev and Tam's and discovered she'd thrown it in the bin!

By the way, Welsh people - what do you mean by "open house"? The mind boggles. Did you hunt down the detestable Tom O'Brien and give him a shoeing? Where were you today? Did you see Tina Hobley? We did. Told you she was stalking me.

Debs - Open House, when we got back last night the front door was open and there was a note behind the door welcoming us back and telling us the way to our room, we got inside and the owner appeared, in fairness he was very nice and got us some milk so we could have a coffee before bed as we were a bit wet ! Our bedroom door had no lock on, hence the need for no keys, I will forgive them anything though as the room was lovely and very comfortable.

As for Tom O Brian, I tracked him down and gave him a good kicking, he knows now not to mess with the Welsh, did you not see him today, in the stocks, I made him the village idiot ! he had a sign around his neck - I am a fool of the highest order.

We didn't see Tina, we had a quick wander around the stalls this morning. bought some tickets for cancer research Ian won some Crabtree and Evelyn bubbles and I won a measuring tape, we headed home then. We could have met up to visit with Tina, never mind ....
