I always like to see other people's completed projects so I've decided to share some of mine. I've made a lot for our trip but only remembered to take pictures of my shirts LOL I have two boys and they have the same shirts.

I tried to put things on the back of the shirts as well just to make them a little more "custom"

Thank you DISigners!

May I ask how you cut everything out so perfectly? These are dark transfers right? Thanks

Hi. I looked at your shirts again and I would love your "Hakuna Matata" image for the back of one of my shirts. Would you be willing to share it with me? Thank you so much for sharing the photos of your shirts. They look incredibly professional! Have a great trip!

I used Amymickey's transfer paper and printed off a big black block and then used my cricut to to cut the letters out! It worked PERFECTLY!

I was unable to find a large image of the painted lion so I was limited in its use

Those look great! They turned out much better than mine. LOL

If you don't mind me asking a few questions since I've never used a circuit that would be great. Did you print the designs on transfer paper and then just run it through the circuit to cut the shapes. I thought it had to be an image on a cartridge to enable the circuit to cut it. I thought the machine got kind of hot so I'm surprised it didn't melt the transfers. Now I may have to try to track down someone who owns a cricut! Thanks. I just love your shirts!

Would you mind sharing the "badness level" image, my ds loves stitch and this would be perfect for him, I have a image from one of the Disigners htta has stitch and say "Wht is your badness level?" so that would work well onthe back!

Thanks!

The badness image was done by The_Alice. I just love it! Of course, for my DS it could have been colored to the top :rotfl:

here is the link to the thread she posted the image for me:

I only used my Cricut for the letters. I cut out the images with a craft knife/scissors. I think used "Duan Juan" and "Cuttin' Up" for the fonts.

I took Amy's paper and printed off a big block of Red and one of Black then ran the paper through the Cricut. I was so worried but it ended up with the result I was looking for. Kinda wish I made the "badness level" a bit bigger but what's done is done right?

That is so cool that it worked!

Was it hard to get the backing paper off without being able to do the pre-peel? Or could you do the pre-peel before sticking it through the machine?

I will HAVE to try this for myself because they look fabulous!!!

Actually Amy it wasn't hard to get the letters peeled at all! I VERY VERY carefully took the point of my craft knife and lifted the them off the backing. Your paper is unbelievably forgiving :lmao: I didn't want to "pre peel" before cutting because it was going through the Cricut and I didn't want to risk the paper bunching in the machine.

THANK YOU so much :):thumbsup2

I will definitely have to try this - that you so much for sharing your experiences and the pictures! Really helps to put an image of the final product - love the way they turned out!

I totally would not have thought to use my cricut for this and now my brain is reeling with the possibilities!! About Amy's paper??? it is not some other brand? She makes it? I am kinda confused about it.

Thanks!
Sarah
