Thought I finalised my ADR list for making in three weeks time, but just noticed that Big River on the Boardwalk is non ADR's. Not sure whether to keep that place in mind or change to Spoodles so I can make an ADR. Opinions please if you have them.

Other than the cuisines totally different I can't really add much but will say are you going to ESPN as that has similar food items to BRG.

Claire ;)

I did think of ESPN but they don't take ADR's either and just something in me feels safer knowing somewhere will get us in eventually. I know my reasoning may sound mad but I feel better having ADR's where I can. If you knew my son and his awkwardness with food I've had to look at every single menu and more or less disregard what's available on the adult menu to make sure he will be catered for(even some of the childrens menus aren't suitable for him). Big River suited us all and Spoodles will be suitable for Ashley.

Ive not eaten at spoodles but i love Big River!! We go every year as we stay on the boardwalk! We have never failed to get a table within 20mins!

We did have a longer wait this year as we wanted 3 tables of 5 outside at 7pm and we had to wait 30 mins! But we were given a pager and walked around the boardwalk for a bit!

Sorry for some reason I was thinking of DDP :rolleyes1 I must say ESPN has alot of tables and you can get seated quite quickly especially if it is earlier or later than the main crowd!

Hope you get a nice meal wherever you decide on.

Claire ;)

Thank you both. May stick with Big River and if we get a pager and have to wait at least there will be something to do. Never having been before I just wanted somewhere reasonably close to YC where we are staying after a day at the water parks. Already got a few places in mind in Epcot.

Wendy - is your brain in overdrive?! Mine is...just wish the park hours and Brits Guide Busy Days would be released early (just for once) and then i could set everything in stone!! I am only booking 2 (yes 2) ADR's but i have already booked the day off work so that i can phone up....sad i know:laughing: !!

Andrea xx

My brain is fried!!!!(but I'm loving the planning). Where are you booking? I have spent months pouring over the menus to sort out places for Ashley (chosen mostly buffets so he should be OK). I'll be booking our ADR's on the day they return to school after Easter so I'll have the house to myself, if both lads had been here goodness knows what I'd have done. Sent them round to the Grandparents I think! Hours should be out on Sunday (I'll be at work:scared1: )so Monday I will be fine tuning the itinerary. DH thinks I'm mad, but I've read too many threads on not having plans. I'm just worried about tiring ourselves out so I'm trying to stop myself planning too much moving around. We are not having a car so don't know how easy it is to move around from home base to one of the parks just for the evening. Ordered Seaworld tickets last week and itching to get MNSSHP tickets and Cirque tickets, they just aren't available yet.

I am only booking Rose & Crown for Oct 14th 7.45pm, Ragland Road for Oct
19th 9pm. Still trying to talk the others into Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on the night we go to MNSSHP but none of them seem interested. We don't eat a lot so we just tend to grab something and go.

In the last 4 years, since staying on-site, we have never had a car and find it really easy to hop on a bus to go to the parks at night.

I booked our taxi to Discovery Cove and out stretched limo to the HRH yesterday (in works time of course!!)

Everything seems to be coming together after all this time of waiting:woohoo:

DD and I can book our ADRs on April 8th! :woohoo: TBH we haven't really thought about our dining needs yet as we're so focused on the Food & Wine Festival and MNSSHP! I'm thinking we have to go to Liberty Tree Tavern before the MNSSHP so that's a definite and I know we want to try bluezoo at the Dolphin - apart from that we're going to be flexible. :rolleyes1 Can't wait to get beyond that 6 month mark...

Spoodles we find is more suitable for breakfast but really liked it there, ESPN is more suitable for Sports bar fans!
