We thought we'd try the Boardwalk on our next trip. We've never been. I'd like to try and eat at Big River Grille. I'm told it's not a Disney restaurant and therefore we can't make ADR until 30 days out. Is it part of the dining plan or must we pay OOP?

Anyone have any thoughts on this dining choice? I have a DS12 who is kind of picky, DS 6 who loves salad and DH who is a meat and potato kind of guy. I'm up for anything!

Thanks!:)

big river grille is part of the ddp, i do not think they take adrs. if you want to take a look at the menus of the different restaurants, have a look on allears.

We go there every trip to WDW and really enjoy it. It's not terribly fancy food, but always pretty good, with a nice selection of beers. There are quite a few BRG detractors on these boards, so be prepared.

BRG does not take ADRs at all. You just have to show up and put your name in.

First off, yes they take the DDP. But they don't take ADR's. it's walk-up only but we've never really had a problem ( Well once we had to wait 15 minutes ).

Let me start by saying we always go in a large group ranging in ages from 3 to 60. ( 15 of us ). And we all love this place and go every time we're at our "home" resort ( Beach Club Villas ). In fact, we tend to go more than once while we're there. It's good "pub grub" and a pretty good variety of it. If you're interested, you can usually get them to give you a brewery tour too if it's not too busy.

we like this place too. I've had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and the chicken cashew salad. Both were very good.
