Big River Grille

Does anyone know if Big River Grille at Disney sells "Growlers" of their beer (1/2 gallon jugs that you can take with you). Also, is it even worth our time to go there? Sure there are lots of places in Epcot, and I've heard about Rose & Crown, but I like trying out microbreweries when I go away.

I don't think so but I'm not 100 percent sure on that.

I always enjoy getting the sampler - a small glass of every beer they brew. It's not always on the drink menu so you may have to ask if that interests you.

Heard back from BRG; growler sales are illegal in Florida.

They might be good for the beer - but don't try and eat there! We had a nightmare visit there last year. They apparently lost our name on the list - but basically lied and said they'd paged us and we didn't come. We sat on the bench right next to the entrance - where we literally could see them -for an hour - there's no way they paged us and we missed it. I would much rather have an apology and sincerity then try and make it sound like we were at fault - and let me say I know they lied about it because the first person we talked to told us she couldn't find our name and then another guy comes up and gives her a "look" and says we didn't answer the page. Anyway - finally got a seat and had LOUSY service from a waiter who clearly didn't give a hoot about us and then got lousy food. It was really the only time I've been completely turned off by a WDW restaurant and will never go back.

Wow, I just posted on this rest........We planned on going there in Sept.
We like the boardwalk area......and I like micro brewery beer...usually....

If you go there, I would suggest always asking for a seat outside, unless the weather is miserable... I don't like the atmosphere inside much. But there's nothing like sitting on the Boardwalk, enjoying lots of beer and watching the fireworks.
