Anyone ever eat here? We need one more table service for the evening after AK. I was thinking it might be fun to go on the boardwalk.

We *love* this restaurant. We typically stay at the BCV, and go to this place twice while we're there. It has a great terasse right on the boardwalk which is nice to eat on if it's warm out. the food is good and the hand crafted beer is too. Despite the brewery settings, it's family friendly which is good cause we usually go with a large group of varying ages.

The only drawback is that it does not take ADRs, but it DOES take the DDP ( at the moment ).

Thank you for the info about it not taking ADRs I will take that into consideration.

I've posted this before, but I absolutely hated it. I am a big fan of their restaurant in Chattanooga and eat there at least once whenever we head up there: huge menu, great beers, great atmosphere.

We went one night and were seated quickly although they were packed. The beer, a summer wheat, was yummy enough, but their 'fall off the bone' ribs were anything but. Tough, chewy, and the sauce was nothing to write home about, and the potatoes were competent at best. Their menu was also much smaller then their other location.

It seems as though they used the outstanding original location and sucked all the soul and personality out of it to nab a prime location to a relatively captive audience in Orlando.

We ate there this past trip (april 4-11) and loved it:banana: ! I am the beer lover in the family and my DW:cutie: was dying to visit Boardwalk.....

The beer selection is excellent, I highly recommend the IPA:thumbsup2 , hands down the best beer I've ever had :drinking1 (and that's saying something!).
We were originally seated on the dining area side, but it was a little boring:rolleyes1 , so we asked to move to the bar side, much better. A good view of the boardwalk, lake, TV's and the brew works.
We all ordered burgers and shared the nachos app., tasty pub grub style food. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us great advise on the menu!

PS: Try the "beer flight", six (6) oz. glasses of the different beers :thumbsup2

I, too, am a beer lover, and I've gone to BRG the past four trips I've made. I've always quite liked it, but then I've ordered the beer sampler and a burger each time, so take that into account.

DH and I really like this place! We will only sit outside at one of the tables on the Boardwalk. If the weather is nice, it's a great place to people watch and enjoy the boardwalk. The Hazelnut Crusted Chicken has been on their menu for a long time now...it's the BEST chicken dish I have ever ordered in a restaurant. DH is the beer drinker and he enjoyed the sampler.

Is it fairly easy to get a table here? I think DBf is going to like this one.....:drinking1 ;)

We liked the food and the beer . The inside of the restaurant is very small, with few tables. We ate outside where there are more tables, but the entire seating area is not that big. They don't take ADRs but they will take same day reservations - we were able to make reservations the night before our dinner.

We found the food and the service were lacking. With so many other choices at WDW, there isn't any reason to go back.

They took the DDP. They only had two desserts.....cheesecake & this Chocolate Confusion (Cake). Both were AWESOME!!!!!!

We've given this restaurant 2 chances and won't be returning. We felt the food was just so-so. We prefer Spoodles and ESPN.

I was a big fan of the Big River. Ribs and Potatoes were awesome. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar or the wait would have been LONG. Unlike previous posters, I thought it was FAR superior to ESPN.

Good to hear the Hazelnut Crusted Chicken was good. I'm thinking about trying this if we go there.

Looking for someplace close to the Beach Club to eat supper one night when we got the first week in June.

Any other opinions, they seem to be about 1/2 & 1/2?
