Big River Grille or Raglan Road? "PLEASE HELP"

Please help!! We only have one more choice for a TS meal. Which is the better place to eat and how is the atmosphere? Thanks

I've got to say that this is a no brainer for us - Raglan Road all the way.

Better menu options, better food, and ALOT of very good beer selections.

Atmosphere wise, I must admit that it is nice to be able to sit outside on the Boardwalk and eat, but you take your chances on the weather: the wind is howling, it's raining, it's incredibly hot, etc.....

Of course, you can eat inside at Big River if there are inclement weather conditions.

That being said, I am a big fan of Big River. I think the food is decent and the beers they do have are pretty good. That being said, Big River is not terribly popular on these boards, so Raglan Road may be the better way to go.

I'm not a fan of Raglan Road - I just don't "get it". Maybe if I had some Irish heritage...

But, having said that I'd take RR over BRG any time. Other than maybe a place to try different beers, it doesn't have anything to distinguish itself. Actually I take that back, it does distinguish itself in terms of poor service and food. Its on our "won't go back" list after having given it several tries.

IF all you want is a beer and a burger, Big River is "ok". Service is nonchalant, and the inside smells like a brewery.
Raglan Road is OK also--they do have some decent beers as well, and while the food portion size is often pitiful, the food is "Irish OK". And they do have entertainment at night--provided you are in a room where you can see it!!
So I'd pick Raglan Road over BRG.

We've never tried RR, but we will never to back to BRG- it was the worst food/atmospere we've ever experienced in WDW!

Raglan Road

We like this location, Eat a late dinner with some decent entertainment, then visit the Comedy Warehouse and The Adventure Club!
Also, if you are looking to make an ADR, then BRG is more difficult to make one at.

Raglan Road, hands down.

I think the Big River Grille has a horrible atmosphere/ambiance. It might be nice if you could eat outside, I suppose. The food is mediocre. Last time I hate there I had a burger that was literally dripping with grease, and no one else in my party was particularly thrilled with their meals, either.

RR, however, has never disappointed! The atmosphere is great and the food is outstanding.

I liked Raglan Road when you got appy's as part of the ddp. Those dalky sausages are yummy!

It's funny how divided opinions can be.

My family didn't "get" Raglan Road either. I thought the food was really heavy, lots of grease etc. It was crowded, loud, with a lot of adults spilling out of the bar area, there for the beer it looked like to me. You know, you kind of expect that with an Irish pub.

We had a really nice meal sitting outside on the Boardwalk in the late evening at Big River Grille. It was relaxed, our server and the food was good, and the kids were comfortable there. So I'd choose Big River but I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Big River seemed more family and laid back to me. I know Raglan Road gets a lot of good reviews but again, we just didn't get it.
