Big River Grille during Free Dining?

I've read that Big River Grille takes the DDP - we pay OOP, so that's not an issue for us, but I'm wondering, since you can't make an ADR, if Free Dining makes this place more crowded, if you can eat for free and don't need an ADR?

You CAN make an ADR, just not thru Disney. If you call the restaurant directly (407-939-3463 or 407-560-0253 I see two numbers for them, not sure which is more current) they will give you a reservation. Then you can walk by all the people waiting for a table! Not sure how early they will take ressies though, I doubt it's six months ahead but doesn't hurt to call and ask.
