Any suggestions please, traveling w/ 2 adults 3 small kids , worried that kids wont like Chefs
Has anyone ever done Big River?, I havent found much feedback on it.
Going during a busy time, so these 2 are IT on options

THANKS

Your initial hunch is right on. While I love Chefs, your kids probably won't. Their menu is strange offering a piece of plain chicken with noodles and a piece of flounder and something else weird. Big River Grill has pb & j, hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled cheese, and mac and cheese for the kiddies. I am sure they would much rather eat here. BRG burgers and quesadillas are really good. It is a little loud when there are convention people around inside, so I suggest if it is nice to eat outside its more quiet on a busy day. Hope this helps you out have fun! :)

If you are thinking lunch at Big River Grille, that might be okay. But dinners we have eaten there were terrible. Our dinner at Chefs de France was much better.

I agree. BRG may be better for the kids, but as an adult spot the food isn't anything to write home about. The burgers are good, but that's about it. Of course, they do have good beer.

As much as it pains me to say this, I think Big River is your better bet (with the kids). If it were adults only, then Chefs all the way, but as far as keeping the kids happy, It's probably safer to go to Big River.

We ate dinner at Big River Grille on our April trip and loved it!!!! The meatloaf was outstanding. So much so we are going back there in October. They don't accept ADR'S but walked up and was seated within 30 min.

Just as a comparison, I also had the meatloaf at 50's Primetime Cafe and although good, it nowhere compared to BRG.

My kids loved Chefs de France when we ate there in March, but they enjoyed Big River as well. I like both places equally well - Chefs has better food, but I think the food at Big River is good and I really like the beers. In the end, your three small kids are not really going to care where they go and there are things on the menu at Chefs that they can eat (my 8 year old daughter loved the chicken with noodles dish that a previous poster mentioned). Thus, I would go to whichever place the adults think they would like more.
